หลังวงการบาสเกตบอลต่างชาติได้สูญเสียอดีตสุดยอดนักบาสระดับตำนาน NBA อย่าง “โคบี้ ไบรอันท์” ชาวสหรัฐอเมริกา เนื่องจากประสบอุบัติเหตุเฮลิคอปเตอร์ส่วนตัวตกในเมืองคาลาบาซัส ลอสแอนเจลิส ประเทศแคลิฟอร์เนีย เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมาตามเวลาท้องถิ่น ซึ่งโคบี้ได้เสียชีวิตพร้อม “จิอานน่า มาเรีย ไบรอันท์” ลูกสาวคนรอง ในวัย 13 ปี พร้อมผู้โดยสารบนเฮลิคอปเตอร์อีก 7 ราย สร้างความตกใจให้กับวงการนักบาสและแฟนคลับของโคบี้ทั่วโลกเป็นอย่างมาก
